Eric Carson was a member of the Gaffney Town Council. He worried that the peach farmers would be unhappy if the town stopped lighting the Peachoid at night, but agreed to tell the farmers that they could pay for the electricity themselves if they wanted to keep lighting it. He argued with Wayne Paley about whether the Peachoid looked more like a sphincter or a clitoris. (Chapter 3)
