Michal Jordan (born July 17, 1990 in Zlín, Czech Republic) is a Czech defenceman currently signed with the Carolina Hurricanes. He has been playing with the major junior Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League. Jordan also played for the Windsor Spitfires. He played for the Czech Republic in the 2009 and the 2010 World Junior Championships. The Carolina Hurricanes chose him 105th overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft while SKA St. Petersburg chose him 80th overall in the 2009 KHL Junior Draft. Jordan chose to sign a three-year entry-level contract with the Hurricanes on April 16, 2010.
