Gerald Greaves was an officer in the UNSC Navy. He started his career as a Marine, and was invited to become an ODST after taking part in Operation TREBUCHET. He severed as an ODST throughout the early years of the Human-Covenant War, but after a major leg injury that left him unfit for infantry duty, he transferred to the UNSC Navy as a commissioned officer.
