Karen Hartig is the mother of Baby Girl Hartig, one of the sick infants in the Season 1 episode Maternity. She is married to Ethan Hartig. She was portrayed by actress Ever Carradine. Karen and Ethan are in recovery when Karen notices that their baby is spitting up. She manages to convince Dr. Lim to take a look at her. Dr. Lim realizes the baby is having a seizure and gets her into neo-natal intensive care. As the baby gets worse, Karen confides in Chase that she is afraid if the baby dies, it will affect her marriage.
