In the 1st film, when Pleakley and the Grand Councilwoman boarded the elevator to Jumba's prison cell, one of the cells appeared to contain Hämsterviel (thus giving him a cameo appearance). Dr. Hämsterviel is voiced by Jeff Glen Bennett.
