Both Maddy Prior (in a duo with Tim Hart and later with Steeleye Span) and June Tabor (with Tim Hart) had appeared in session on Peel's shows before they united for the recordings and performances mentioned above. They did a session for Peel under their own names, featuring material from what became the first Silly Sisters album, in late 1975. Afterwards they returned to their main careers, Prior as lead singer of Steeleye Span and Tabor as a solo singer. But while Maddy Prior and Steeleye Span barely feature in Peel's later shows, June Tabor became a lasting Peel favourite.
