Oleg Thoma was a male Human tank commander who fought in the Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, and several other conflicts. Joining the Confederacy of Independent Systems at the age of nineteen, Thoma rose up the ranks due to his skill in tank tactics, achieving the rank of captain in 19 BBY; during the final months of the war. After the conflict ended with a Republic victory, he went into hiding, as the newly formed Galactic Empire wanted to execute him as a war criminal. Years later, in 2 BBY, an old adversary who he fought against during the Clone Wars—Jedi Master Rahm Kota—tracked down Thoma.
