The Sea of Ringol was a great inland sea. It is believed that the Sea of Ringol was formed from the meltwaters that came after the destruction of Ormal. Not much of known of this Southern Sea. In many books it is not shown, and others just briefly show it. It is possible that it was one of the many landforms (like its relative, the Sea of Helcar) that was destroyed either with the sinking of Beleriand or the changing of the world.
