The Inner Cloister is a mini courtyard area within the Rogue Monastery. It also has a waypoint in its center. Beyond the Inner Cloister stands the Cathedral which players need to clear in order to enter the Catacombs. Before the release of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, a particularly deadly Super Unique Monster, Flamespike the Crawler, could be found near the waypoint along with his minions. However in the expansion Flamespike was removed and replaced by the dead Rogue, leaving the Inner Cloister usually devoid of monsters.
