Antigone Chen was a female Human Starfleet officer (serial number GB-018-494) in the mid 24th century, the child of Xun Chen and Ismene Zavos. A science officer, she served in many postings over the course of her career. Sometime before 2354, she was married to a Vulcan male named Sylix, and in that year gave birth to a daughter, T'Ryssa. Chen and Sylix divorced circa 2356, and Antigone kept custody of their daughter. In 2364, Chen, then a Lieutenant Commander, was assigned to a research station on planet Maravel.
