An assassin working for Herth during the events of Teckla to kill Vlad Taltos. His name is a Serioli term that means "He Who Designs Interesting Clasps for Ladies' Jewelry". Quaysh was apparently a good swordsman in the Dragaeran style, but had a hard time fighting against an Easterner who only presented the side of his body during combat. Quaysh was killed by Ishtvan when he attempted to finish Vlad off in the house of Kelly.
