Selected by Minnesota North Stars 8th round (#130) in 1977 NHL Amateur Draft Selected by Birmingham Bulls 6th round (#49) in 1977 WHA Amateur Draft Defenseman Greg Tebbutt played briefly with the Quebec Nordiques and Pittsburgh Penguins in the 80s. He was a rugged enforcer in his own end who also put up solid offensive numbers in junior and the minors. Following the WHA/NHL merger, Tebbutt was claimed on waivers by Quebec. Apart from his two game stint in the NHL he was a solid minor leaguer for the next four years and topped the 20-goal mark twice.
