At the time the Atlantis expedition first arrived into the Pegasus galaxy, the Wraith homeworld housed a Hive ship, with most of its inhabitants lying dormant under the care of the Wraith Keeper. The Hive there held Athos as part of its territory. Later, Sheppard's team went to gather intelligence, but found that the Hive ship had left. It was also here that Sheppard had a near fatal encounter with an Iratus bug. (SGA: "Thirty-Eight Minutes")
