Makoto (with a dark-brown mullet), and Shikako (short light-brown with freckles) are Akane's friends. Their surnames are never revealed. They are in her class and are sometimes seen in her company when they show up. They are both very supportive of Akane, trying to cheer her up when needed. It should be noted that the manga usually has generic looking students talking to Akane, so Makoto and Shikako as known in the anime may not exist at all. It should also be noted that Makoto and Shikako are not as together as Yuka and Sayuri. Shikako for instance, may appear alongside Sayuri.
