Jafan was the King of Utapau a millennium before the Invasion of Utapau. Jafan came to power at the end of the Utapau Civil War, a conflict between Ogana and the other settlements on the planet. Once Jafan took the throne, the conflict ended with the settlements unifying together with Ogana as their capital. The Humans of Utapau existed in relative peace with one another from that point forward.
