The Battle of Thanos was an engagement between the loyalist Galactic Empire and the Greater Maldrood, the faction of the warlord Admiral Treuten Teradoc. He took the planet Thanos in an earlier campaign, due to its shipyards. The Imperial Navy defeated the warlord, killing him and annexing his territories into the Empire. However, several remnants of his Greater Maldrood faction later fought against the Empire at the Battle of Centares.
