James sets his sights on The Mill. The villagers gather for the Harvest Festival celebrations. Kathy persuades Joe to come. Jim's suspicious when Henry begins to tell Kathy something in his presence, but she cuts him off. Annie recognises Kathy's bracelet when she gives her a drink. Freda tells Annie that Kenny gave it to her when they married. Annie subtly lets Joe that she now knows he was lying when he said it was Christine's. He spots Kathy dancing with James. Amos and Sam gossip about James and Kathy in Jim's earshot as she dances with him. Jim stops them dancing and forces her, Freda and Davey to return home early.
