Waehild (pronounced WAY-hihld) was a Tortallan refugee during the Scanran War. During the war, she lived at Haven, the refugee camp commanded by Lady Knight Keladry of Mindelan in 460 HE. She used to tell off-color jokes in order to try and make Kel blush. This was all in good humor and good fun. Waehild died during the second attack on Haven led by Stenmun Kinslayer in early June of 460. Kel mourned her. Waehild only appears in the books while dead, but is remembered by Keladry in Lady Knight.
