Vortia Kwis was the captain of the Pure Sabacc. Kwis agreed to ferry refugees from Dubrillion to Dantooine shortly after the Battle of Dubrillion. After fighting their way out of a Yuuzhan Vong sneak attack at Dantooine, Kwis lost faith in the New Republic and joined the Peace Brigade, adapting Pure Sabacc into a traveling recruitment center.
