Colonel Peter Kurt Baumgartner, MF, is the second son of Kurt Heinz Baumgartner, founder of the Conservative Party of Sekowo, and his wife Miriam Baumgartner. He worked at Baumgartner Holdings, the family business, since finishing his mandatory military service. He is still in active service as part of the Sekowo Army Reserves, holding the rank of Colonel. In 2519, he chose to pursue a political career. He served as a Tory politician as Defense Critic until the formation of Cabinet in 2521 where he stepped aside for his father who became the Defense Minister of Sekowo. He succeeded his brother as Conservative Party Whip. He then returned to the position of Defense critic and is the current Minister of Defense.
