As usual, Tails is having to fight off a group of Badniks. Fortunately, this time he is aided by old friend Johnny Lightfoot, who has turned up for Easter (he is a "bunny" after all). In all seriousness, Johnny has come to ask for Tails' help, since something in bad is happening in the Sun Valley Zone. The pair grab Tails' Bi-plane and head to the trouble spot, which has been swamped by unnatural fog. Because the mist is so thick, Tails fails to spot an oncoming mountain and crashes, causing Johnny to bail out with a parachute. Tails makes a crash-landing and can't find his friend.
