Eric Burton was a civilian member of the USS Enterprise-D crew, born in 2358, and son of a command division officer. (TNG: "Masks" , "Firstborn" ) In 2370, Iyaaran Ambassador Loquel encountered Eric while on a tour of the Enterprise-D conducted by Counselor Deanna Troi. Loquel was amazed by Eric, as the Iyaarans were born fully grown and he had never seen a child before. Loquel invited Eric to have dessert with him, as sweets and other confections were also foreign to the Iyaarans. (TNG: "Liaisons" )
