Survivor: 18 is a fanfic that takes the place of the eighteenth season of the CBS reality television series Survivor. The premier aired on Fall, 2009. Although the location has yet to be announced, host Jeff Probst has revealed that location scouts wanted to shoot the season in Africa's Okavango Delta (near the Kalahari Desert), but this plan was changed when Gabon was presented as a location for season 17. In publicity interviews for the premiere episode of Survivor: Gabon, Probst revealed that one of the contestants has a very bitchy personality, similar to Corinne Kaplan of Gabon.
