The Dire Wolf Battleship is an old design, dating back to the Shadow War in the 26th century. It is slowly being replaced by the Demon Grand Cruiser, but some 50 ships are still in service within the Imperial Navy. Armed with 16 weapons batteries and 6 lance batteries, the Dire Wolf quite simply lacks firepower.
