Freezing(フリージング) is a Japanese manga series written by Dall-Young Lim and illustrated by Kim Kwang Hyun, popular Korean manwha creators. The manga started serialization in Kill Time Communication's male-oriented Japanese SF/fantasy manga magazine Comic Valkyrie in 2008. Freezing is similar in style and tone to many other fighting girls manga stories like Tenjho Tenge and Ikki Tousen, with the same emphasis on fan service and lengthy battle scenes. As with other titles in this subgenre, the strengths of this manga are the excellent artwork and an appealing heroine.
