Alpha-80 was an ARC Captain in the Grand Army of the Republic. He later became the general of the Triumphs forces, in the 2nd Clone Rebellion. He was often partnered with Alpha-81. During one battle, he fought a Mandalorian hired by the empire. He won, but lost his helmet, and took the Mandalorian's. He repainted it and kept it.
