Fairmont State Airfield is a public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) south of the central business district of Fairmont, in Fillmore County, Nebraska, United States. It is owned by the Nebraska Department of Aeronautics. This is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility. It has no scheduled commercial airline service. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned FMZ by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.
