The DT520FM features a bound mahogany body with a flamed maple top and a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with individual volume controls, a fixed bridge and tailpiece and gold Sure Grip III knobs. The DT520 is a similar model which lacks the flamed maple top. The DT1GFM was a similar limited edition model with coil-tap functionality and gold hardware which was offered exclusively by American music retailers Guitar Center and Musician's Friend. The DT520FM was discontinued after 2016.
