Carbon worms are colossal iron-based organisms native to the scorching carbon/diamond world of Ectidarvo. They were recently discovered by the crew of the Cleesha on a mining expedition to the searing world. They had also apparently been subjected to Ra-Shi experimentation prior to the official end of the Ra-Shi War, displaying railgun mounts and tractor beam emitters of Ra-Shi design which they used to attack the Cleesha with. Carbon worms burrow enormous cave networks in the graphite soil of Ectidarvo and allegedly consume the native minerals.
