For first-time vandals, consider putting a on the user's talk page before reporting them. Add vandal reports under the appropriate heading, "IP alerts" or "registered user alerts", in the following format: ===Current date=== #{{vandal|"IP or username (excluding quotes)"}} Followed by a description of the act(s) of vandalism, and your signature (by typing ~~~~). #*Subsequent details should be added under the initial report in this form.
