A complete list of Australian Presidents following the establishment of the Federal Republic of Australia on the 1 January, 1968. Traditionally, the Australian President has almost no executive powers, and the powers one has in regards to law-making is simply being a "rubber stamp"; signing in laws, but not taking part in the law making, as that power is placed in the hands of the Senate and House of Representatives. However, the Australian Constitution does allow the President to line-veto a bill if it parts of said bill could be considered "unconstitutional".
