Diduck was a tough, defensive defenceman who cleared opposing forwards in the defensive zone. His best years were with the New York Islanders and the Vancouver Canucks. In 1993-94 he came closest to winning a Stanley Cup when the Canucks lost the final. He retired in 2001 after several tries to restart his career.
