Dire condors are carrion birds that create their own carrion. Unlike smaller buzzards, dire condors willingly attack live prey. A dire condor has a wingspan of 15 feet and weighs about 200 pounds. Dire condors' eyes burn with feral wickedness and rough, bony protrusions jut from its beak and talons.
