The Durgasi are a Near-Human species originating in the Unknown Regions. In recent history, their empire began a war with the Black Star Confederacy - a war that ended with the dissolution of their empire and the absorbtion into the Confederacy. Durgasi have a lifespan equal to that of a human, but boasts superior physical strength and toughness; at the same time, all Durgasi have natural nightvision - a fact that betrays their heritage as cave-dwellers.
