He graduated from the California College of the Arts in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video. Since then he has worked on PC games, Commercials and Television: his credits include work on "Star Trek Voyager, Enterprise and Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles. Isler created the ship schematics that can be found at the end of a number of Honorverse novels.
