No More Heroes basically uses many aspects of geek culture and shows why they are poor. It depicts hardcore gamers as pitiable people who do not wish to improve themselves or interact with the world around them, but would rather engage in violent fantasies. It can be seen in the character of Travis and the world he inhabits.
