Ba'M'eel was a male Orion who lived in the late 24th century and served in Starfleet. In 2371, he held the rank of Ensign and served on the USS Defiant (NX-74205) (I), working at a battle station. He was the only Orion in the crew at the time, and though young, he was considered talented. (DS9 novel: The Long Night)
