Mount Valmai was a mountain volcano located on Voya Nui. It was extremely active. The Ignika was buried deep beneath it, and Valmai held a massive complex devoted to this purpose. Leading to the mask was a staircase of 777 steps. Three teams have been known to travel there and survive: Toa Jovan's team, the Piraka, and the Toa Inika. It is unknown if Valmai survived the trip back to the Northern Continent. It was abandoned when the Matoran evacuated to Spherus Magna.
