Evil Technology and Worldly Ways is the second story in chapter 7 of Sluggy Freelance, Summer Vacation. On their way to their summer vacation, the gang falls asleep in Riff's truck, and Bun-bun hijacks it to get to Tijuana, but they land in Amish country. Thanks to Bun-bun selling modern technology and gnawing down a barn that was just raised, they soon have to run off. All the while, Torg keeps contact with Valerie.
