Lloyd Crowe was a human Insurrectionist. Born in 2490 on the colony of Minister, Crowe attended Rishard University, obtaining a master's degree in engineering, eventually coming to work on Talitsa in 2517. While working on designing and overseeing the construction of mining facilities for the Talitsa Corporate Council, Crowe was bribed into covertly joining the United Rebel Front on the planet, building the mining facilities to act as redoubts for the rebels. In 2520, as the uprising on the colony began, Crowe waited the battle out within one of the mines-turned-redoubts. However, in 2522, after the uprising had failed, Crowe escaped to Glabetov.
