Giant Sand Scorpions are just that. Giant scorpion like beings that live their lives in a desset wasteland in the far future. Their stinging tales have been replaced with a whip-like appendage which the creatures can use to lasso or sting hteir enemies. It is more flexible than their ancestors tales. They are highly agressive and territorial and more than enough to kill and normal human. They live underneath the sand and burrow/swim through it to move undetected. They surface only to fight. They are most likely carnivores and their main food of choice are probably Sandworms. The only know person to ever encounter/vanquish these beasts is Balkan D. Dairou.
