His normal self is Darien Shields (Mamoru Chiba). In the original "Sailor Moon" series, in the episode before "Bad Hair Day", he is brainwashed by former lover Queen Beryl, who ruled the Negaverse, and he began working for her. It is unknown (except to whoever can fix this part) when he left and rejoined the good side.
