The Thunder Beetle is a relative of the Anode Beetle. It is a larger, more powerful variety. It looks like a gigantic Anode Beetle. Upon sighting Pikmin, it will slowly turn the back of its shell towards them. With a loud click, the backside opens up and one can see the beetle readying an immense electrical charge. Run away from the backside because it's about to fire a devastating electrical laser. It kill all Pikmin except for Yellow Pikmin. After the shot, the back will close and it will look for further targets. To defeat it, throw Yellow Pikmin onto its backside while it readies the charge. They'll damage it even while it is firing the electrical laser. Afterwards, the beetle will shake them off. In a way, you could say this battle is somewhat similar to that of an Armored Cannon Beet
