Steven Lathorous was a Mesan citizen and an officer of Alignment Security. He belonged to the Lathorous line, one of the Alignment's genetic Beta lines, and was considered a dangerous fighter. He and Jack McBryde joined Alignment Security as cadets, and worked together at the Gamma Center. In 1921 PD, Lathorous was assistant security director at Gamma Center. After the Center had been destroyed by McBryde, Collin Detweiler advised his father to have Lathorous reprimanded, but not so hard as to seriously endanger his career. (CS2)
