Jennifer "Jen" Tyler (nee Headley) is the Head Representative of Rochdale's LEA and the wife Max Tyler. She is familiar with John Foster staff and dislikes her husband approach to education and his disrepect to staff. Jennifer is a supporter of Rachel Mason and if people knew that Max was seeing Helen Hopewell and Kim Campbell she will sack Max as well as leave him. After being confronted by Kim Campbell about Jen, Max states that he and his wife lead "two seperate lives" and that his affair with Kim is "none of [Jen's] business".
