Bobby Jensen is an ex-business partner and ex-boyfriend of Beka Valentine. Bobby and Beka were very close, and did many jobs together, both legitimate and illegal. However, their relationship ended when Bobby hired Seamus Harper, from Earth, to help Beka Valentine smuggle computers past a Nietzschean blockade. It turns out, however, that Bobby deceived Beka, and that the Maru was actually smuggling stolen missiles. After this incident, they broke up and separated, with Bobby leaving the Maru.
