Although they were not shown before Chapter 12: Mainly Involves Robots their actions were shown as early as Chapter 1: The Shadow and the Robot. In their first appearance two of them are shown talking in some incomprehensible language. When Annie spots them they run away in to the Robot Infrastructure.
