Coran and the Wolfweres is a side quest which can be started in Baldur's Gate II Chapter 6, which makes the Forest of Tethir available. In the northeast part of the Forest of Tethyr, near the cabin, Coran, a potential companion of Baldur's Gate, will ask you to help him rescue Safana, another potential companion, who has been captured by wolfweres. Go to the Wolfwere camp to the east which is marked on your map and which is near the point where you entered the area. You will learn that Safana is in league with Lanfear, to kill you because of the bounty on Gorion's Ward.
