The Battle Group Lambda consists of a detachment of vessels and soldiers from both the Republic Navy and the Republic Guard, under the order of the Unified Command. It is one of several Battle Groups formed during the Clone Wars, including Battle Group Theta. The commander of Battle Group Lambda is Moff Zilana Luce, and the current assignment stations the group over the Bothan system. The Moff in charge of the battle group is charged with the collection of taxes from Corellia, Bothawui, Sienar, and Vanix II. The group is required to assist in the defense of Mon Calamari upon their request.
