The Herglic Trade Empire was a trading Empire in the Colonies established by the Herglics of Giju presumably not long after the Corellians achieved hyperspace travel, prior 27,500 BBY. There was some archaeological evidence that the Herglic Trade Empire achieved a superior level of technology that was not paralleled during the Rebellion era. The Trade Empire joined the Galactic Republic around 13,000 BBY.
